Pan-Africanism as a Students' Struggle (a Collaboration with UChicago Students)

  • Center for Identity and Inclusion 5710 S Woodlawn Ave Chicago IL, 60637 United States (map)

(From PASC’s social media) Excited to announce our upcoming event in collaboration with [ACSA], [A-APRP] and [RMLA]. We will start off the event with a Kahoot on African geography followed by a discussion about the need and the rise of Pan-Africanist rhetoric and organizations in recent times.

We will also have a conversation with Dr. John Trimble from the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party. He will discuss the significant contributions of the student movement in the struggle against apartheid in South Africa and will connect this history to current student organizing, emphasizing the potential for students to spark revolutions.
